And Can That One Life Transform a Company—and Even a Generation?

There once was a college wrestler—an ordinary athlete by most standards.

One day, he decided to attend an FCA wrestling camp.
His motivation was simple: he wanted to become a better athlete.
But something unexpected happened.

After training one day, through a message that was shared,
he encountered Jesus—not just intellectually, but personally.

From that moment on,
the direction of his life began to change completely.

He went beyond becoming a better competitor—
he became a leader who influences people.
His values began to impact not just a company,
but an entire industry.

And eventually, his life led him to give over $2M USD annually
to support a ministry.

His name is Dan Cathy, former Chairman of Chick‑fil‑A.

The Ripple Effect of One Encounter

Recently, I had the opportunity to host Chick‑fil‑A leaders during their visit to Korea.

That moment—when one athlete met Jesus at a camp—
has now been carried into corporate culture and values,
and that same influence is now reaching Korea.

This gathering was not merely a time of sharing best practices.

It was a time of wrestling together with a deeper question:
How do we live out our faith in our respective fields?

Leaders from various sectors across Korea joined in that conversation.

🙏Can Faith and Business Truly Be One?

In Korea, it is still common to separate
“business” and “faith.”

When performance is required,
when critical decisions must be made,
faith is often pushed to the background.

So the question lingers:

“Is it really possible to glorify God through business?”

I Saw That It Is Possible

As I met the Chick‑fil‑A leaders,
one thing became clear:

This is not theory.
It is reality.

In their decisions,
in their leadership,
and in the way they treat people,

faith was not an add-on—
it was the very center of their decision-making.

And that center produced tangible results.

This became a powerful challenge to Korean leaders as well:

“How can we glorify God through our businesses?”

This is no longer an abstract question.
It is becoming concrete—in decisions, in direction, in action.

And within that process,
a clear stirring and movement is taking place.

⚽️And the Starting Point

We already know how small the beginning can be.

It doesn't start with something grand.

It starts with one athlete,
at one camp,
encountering Jesus.

From that moment, everything begins.

And even now,
that story continues to unfold.

We already know this truth:

One camp can change one life,
and that one life can transform an entire industry.
